What I do love about these online "widgets" or social applications is the great possibility they offer not only to meet but also to get to know people with whom you would never interact under different circumstances. Just as a sample, I have just got some interesting interchange with Nik (see comments), and lots of feedback will probably come up after these online encounters- really profitable for our profession.
