Notices 

Look at the numbered signs in the right-frame, and select the correct meaning from the choices below.

1. Sign One

A. All receipts are kept with the goods.
B. You can only buy goods with a receipt.
C. You can take the goods now but you must buy a receipt later.
D. You cannot take away goods without showing a receipt.

2. Sign 2

A. Never go into crowds of people.
B. Leave your money at home.
C. Be careful with your money, camera, etc. in crowds.
D. Thieves only steal from lots of people at one time.

3. Sign 3

A. It is dangerous to attempt to feed these animals.
B. All the animals are hungry.
C. The animals only eat hands.
D. All animals are bad.

4. Sign 4

A. Don't write letters on Sunday.
B. The mail will not be collected after Sunday.
C. The mail is not picked up on Sundays.
D. Never put your mail in the post box on Sundays.

5. Sign 5

A. Always keep the lights on.
B. You cannot enter the room if the lights are on.
C. Turn off the lights whenever you leave the room.
D. If there is no one left in the room when you leave then turn the lights out.

6. Sign 6

A. Ring the bell and then wait for someone to answer the door.
B. Before opening the door, ring the bell.
C. Ring a bell after entering the room.
D. Push the door open and ring the bell at the same time.

A.You can save money by travelling on a Friday.

A.The librarian needs to see your books before you go.
B.The librarian will show you where to put your books.
C.Return your books before you leave the library.

A. Use this machine when the bar is closed.
B. Drinks cannot be ordered at the bar.
C. There is a drinks machine in the bar.
D. This machine is not working at the moment.

5)
A.Keep the key to this door in the room.
B.Lock the room when it is not being used.
C.This door must always be kept locked.
D.This room cannot be used at present.
