School life
In Japanese elementary schools, classes are divided into small teams for many activities. For example, as part of their education, every day the students clean the classrooms, halls, and yards of their school in these teams. In many elementary schools, the students eat lunch together in their classrooms.
Breaks
There are two breaks lasting about 20 minutes each.
Origami is a traditional Japanese craft.Starting with a single sheet of square colored paper, you can learn to fold all kinds of animals, birds, flowers, boxes, and toys. Origami is a popular pastime, because all it takes is a piece of paper.

But they get a two-week break in December and January, another two-week vacation at Easter and one week off in Autumn.
